Chapter 11
It's about a year later. I now live with Lance and Joey. I got enrolled at the local high school. On the first day of school, I instantly became best friends with Heidi, Lacey, and Taisia, who were all friends before. We all got along really well. Plus, we were really big fans of *NSYNC. Heidi likes Justin, Lacey likes JC, Taisia likes Joey, and I like Lance. We all like Chris too. So, we don't usually fight over them. I knew they were really big fans, so I never told them that I live with Lance and Joey. Basically it was cuz they'd wanna be over all the time.
I hurried to the bus stop. The bus had just pulled up. I got on and walked towards the back. I sat down next to Heidi. Lacey and Taisia were behind us.
"Hey guys!" I said. "I can't believe it's the last day of school," said Lacey. "Yeah, I know. I just wish we didn't have to take finals all day," replied Taisia. "Exactly what I was thinking," said Heidi. "What are we gonna do after school today?" I asked. We almost always got together after school at someone's house, except for mine. "You know what I just realized?" said Lacey. "What's that?" asked Heidi. "We've never been over to your house, Katie," she said. "Yeah, really," replied Taisia. "I say let's go over to your house today," Lacey said to me. "Umm…well…" I hesitated. "I say we should too," said Heidi. "I'm gonna have to agree with them," said Taisia. "Well…I guess it'll be OK," I replied finally. "This is gonna be a very interesting afternoon. Maybe the guys won't be there," I thought. "OK. It's decided then. Katie's house it is," said Lacey. "Now we can finally see where you live," said Taisia. "And see if she has any cute brothers living with her," added Lacey. "I don't have any brothers." "Well, maybe you have cute guy neighbors," said Heidi.
We finally got to school. "Yes! The last day of school begins. Then we'll finally be outta here," said Heidi. We got off the bus and headed towards our first classes. "See ya guys later!" I said to them. "Yep. Bye!" they replied. "What am I gonna do?! They're gonna totally flip when they find out I live with Lance and Joey!" I thought.
