"God, how much time do you spend with them?" Mallory questioned.
"They're my friends!"
"But you're around them 24/7 anyway!"
"Well, I don't know, they've wanted to do a lot more things with me than usual in the past few days, but we do stuff together once in a while." Mallory rolled her eyes. By this time, I was all the way down stairs.
"Morning, Elise," Mallory said when she saw me.
"Good morning, Mal."
"So, what do you guys want to do today?" Jen asked us.
"Shopping!"
"Is that OK?" I nodded. I got dressed and soon we were off to the mall
"Hey Justin. I see you brought your girlfriend." Justin nodded. I was looking hard at the girl, trying to remember where I'd seen herfinally, I did. It was Britany Spears. I shook my head, letting the information sink in, and walked towards them.
"Yo, yo, yo, what's up Elise?" Chris. I smiled as he walked toward me and stuck out his hand. I did this really weird thing that he'd told us about the day before at lunch. Actually he only told me, because I was the only one listening.
"See, she rocks." I laughed as we continued into the next room with Jen's huge TV. I sat down on the floor. Jen turned on the TV and put 'I know what you did last summer' in.
"Is the movie scarin' you yet?" After I jumped, I smiled, shook my head, and got sucked into the movie again. I didn't feel his arm slide around me for a second, but when I did, I got a tingly feelinglikeI don't know how to explain it, but it was definatly a good feeling. I felt his eyes run up and down my body, digging into me, trying to find something that I didn't want anyone to knowbut something I couldn't quite seem to remember eitheruntil I looked down at my hand, noticing the ring the ring, David's ring
